Procurement for licensed practices in Europe

I hold no stock and run no warehouse. When you order, I buy the original product inside the EU, from the manufacturer, from one of its authorised distributors or from a wholesaler they supply, and it is sent to your practice by tracked courier. I invoice you, and I answer for the order.

Examples of delivery destinations

I deliver to licensed practices in Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.

The ten cities on the map are examples. I have no office, warehouse or staff in any of them. The goods travel by tracked courier from suppliers inside the EU directly to your practice.

For a delivery to Switzerland, you act as the importer. See Payment and delivery.

What I am, and what I am not

An intermediary, and one person.

MaxMed Systems is my procurement business. I do not manufacture anything, I am not the appointed distributor of any brand, and I hold no stock. I find the product in the manufacturer’s distribution chain inside the EU, buy it for your order and arrange the delivery.

In legal terms I sell the goods to you, and the EU Medical Device Regulation treats me as a distributor. Where I buy directly from the manufacturer, I can show you the documentation. Where I buy from a distributor or a wholesaler, I name the supplier of your order on request, but I cannot show you the manufacturer’s authorisation for every brand.

What you would check first about a supplier you do not know

Three facts before anything else.

No botulinum toxin and no injectable hyaluronidase, of any brand, at any price.

Everything is bought inside the European Union, from the manufacturer, from a distributor it has authorised or from a wholesaler supplied by such distributors, and ships from within the EU. Certificates come first. Where the manufacturer holds an MDR certificate, I quote on that basis.

Checks that do not depend on me

How to check me in five minutes.

The company. Search for EUID ROONRC.J2013000700355 in the European e-Justice Portal, under “Find a company”.

The registration certificate is on the Corporate disclosure page.

The bank. When you send a euro transfer to my IBAN from a bank in the EU, your bank checks the payee name against the account holder.

Checks you can make on the goods

Where every unit comes from.

Every order is traceable to the operator that supplied it (Article 25, EU MDR).

The lot number, expiry date and device identifier are printed on the packaging and recorded against your order, so you can check the device and its manufacturer in EUDAMED yourself.

No documented origin, no offer.

I hold no stock and I publish no price list. I buy against confirmed orders.

Prices and availability come from my supply partner, and they change.

On terms once we know each other

In advance at first.

The first three orders are paid in full in advance, against a proforma invoice.

You do not know me yet, and asking a new supplier for credit at that stage would not be reasonable for either of us.

From the fourth order onwards, you pay within fourteen days of the invoice date.

Everything paid is returned, with nothing deducted

If I cannot deliver.

If an order cannot be completed for any reason before dispatch, everything you have paid is returned in full, to the account it came from, within 30 calendar days.

If a paid order is not delivered because of a failure on my side, I also pay you 10% of the amount you paid, as compensation.

Availability is confirmed for each order, and sometimes a product cannot be sourced at all.

Reasons to buy elsewhere

What is not good about buying from me.

I am slower than a webshop. Because I buy against your order, delivery normally takes up to fourteen days from payment, and up to three weeks for some products.

If you need goods tomorrow, I am the wrong supplier.

This is one person. I read the emails, I place the orders and I answer the telephone.

Who I am.

My name is Catalin Calinoiu. I am a medical graduate of the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timisoara.

I am not in clinical practice, and I do not claim to be.

When you write to this address, I am the person who reads your message and the person who answers it, usually on the same working day.

You check the labels yourself, with the goods in your hands

A shelf-life guarantee instead of photographs.

I do not send photographs of goods before dispatch, because my suppliers do not provide them reliably.

What I do guarantee: every unit has at least twelve months of shelf life left when it reaches you. If it has less, I refund it in full.

Three units are enough to find out how this works

A first order can be small.

There is no minimum order value, no account to open and no obligation.

A small first order shows you whether the goods match the description, whether the delivery date holds and whether your emails are answered.

How I find your address

How I contact clinics.

In countries where the law allows business-to-business email, I write to clinics at the business email address each clinic publishes on its own website.

I do not use personal addresses and I do not buy lists, and my first message always tells you where I found yours.

Reply with one word and I stop writing, permanently.
